Drink Water

Self-care is all about being kind to yourself, and we love to think about the fun side of it: walks, yoga, comfort food, and taking time to enjoy life. But when you’re having trouble with mental health, it can be the boring stuff that matters most. Hydration is a basic part of self-care that can feel really hard.

Drink too much soda? Having trouble getting out of bed or off the couch? Dreading washing a sink full of old dishes? Set a different goal, and drink water whenever you get thirsty. By focusing on hydration you’ll balance your soda intake, move around more by making regular refills, and you can focus on smaller components of cleaning such as refilling ice trays or just washing the glass you need.
