'Unique and groundbreaking': First Nations mental-health care strengthened

A mobile mental health crisis response team will be available to four First Nations communities surrounding London starting Friday. A 24/7 crisis hotline will open, giving First Nations community members a resource to call when dealing with a mental health crisis. Thanks to the funds from the provincial and federal governments, the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Aamjiwnaang First Nation, Kettle and Stony Point First Nation and Munsee-Delaware Nation have worked together to provide mental health services to people in those communities.
