Cut back on Caffeine

You may think that you need coffee or tea to get you through the day. But caffeine is a stimulant and may make you more anxious, or even worsen a depression.

  • Try to keep your intake to 1-2 cups per day
  • Even cutting back by one cup a day can make a difference
  • Try drinking a cup of decaffeinated tea/coffee as a replacement – or even a glass of water
