Go outside

Spending time outside has been shown to have positive effects on both physical and mental health. Being outside can reduce stress & anxiety, lead to better sleep, and it's free!

  • You may not feel like going outside - so start by opening your blinds/curtains to let more light into your home.
  • Start small: go outside for just a few minutes at a time until you feel comfortable
  • Go somewhere peaceful: the beach or woodland are great places for helping to reduce stress
